1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for these Make-Models.

1. Modified Upper Boom and Gimbal Joint Assemblies must be manufactured in accordance with Coldstream Helicopters Ltd. Master Drawing List MDL-22-0084, Rev. IR, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved May 26, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision; and is to be installed in accordance with Coldstream Helicopters Ltd. Engineering Order INST-22-0084, Rev. IR, TCCA approved May 26, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.
2. Maintenance and Inspection must be in accordance with Coldstream Helicopters Ltd.
Instructions for Continued Airworthiness ICA-22-0084, Rev. IR, TCCA accepted May 26, 2023, or later TCCA accepted revision.
4. Aircraft must be equipped with the approved Airbus Helicopters “4.5-Tonne capacity sling” option prior to Airbus Helicopters modification 0725655; and must be operated in accordance with approved Airbus Helicopters Flight Manual Supplement SUP.10.6 for the AS332L or AS332L1.
Certification Basis:
Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Airbus Helicopters AS332L, AS332L1 is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the Airbus Helicopters AS332L, AS332L1 as shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) H4EU for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The type certification basis for the Airbus Helicopters AS332L, AS332L1 as shown on TCDS H4EU for parts changed or affected by the change with the following exception:
14 CFR § 29.610 at Amendment 29-53.
