1. Installation of Garmin GTX Transponder System must be in accordance with Heli Austria Master Document List Number HAU-D-038-001, Revision 1, dated September 20, 2021, or later EASA approved revisions. This change covers the installation of a Garmin GTX33DH/GTX345DR Transponder, controlled by a Garmin GTN650(Xi) or GTN750(Xi). The installation of Garmin GTN650(Xi) or GTN750 (Xi) is not part of this installation.

1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

Description of Type Design Change (continued):
2. Maintenance must be in accordance with Heli Austria Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Number HAU-D-038-006, Revision 1, dated September 20, 2021, or later EASA accepted revisions.
3. Operation must be in accordance with Heli Austria Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement Number HAU-D-038-005, Revision 1, dated September 20, 2021, or later EASA approved revisions.
2. Operation must be in accordance with "Limitations" section of Heli Austria Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement referenced in the Description of Type Design Change section of this STC.
3. Installation introducing a Garmin GTN650(Xi) or GTN750(Xi) for transponder control is a required prerequisite for this change.
4. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for Airbus Helicopters Models AS332L and AS332L1. This change is not applicable to Model AS332L1e.
5. The installation is limited to helicopters, where no ACAS system is installed.
6. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
