The Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, Document Number CE41168M001, original issue, dated June 1, 2011, or later FAA approved revision must be carried in the aircraft during all flights. The Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Document Number CE42168A001, original release, dated April 21, 2011 or later FAA accepted revision, must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

3. FAA certification of this installation was limited to the evaluation of the electronic countermeasure equipment’s effects on the safe operation of the aircraft, and does not connote FAA endorsement of the effectiveness of the equipment in countering a Man Portable Air Defense System (MANPADS) threat.
In addition, the FAA has not evaluated the safety of the infrared (IR) laser for use on the ground or in the air. Operation of the IR laser, to include appropriate laser safety training for flight crew and maintenance personnel, should be in accordance with the intent of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standards Z136.1, Safe Use of Lasers, and Z136.6, Use of Lasers Outdoor.
