Installation of a Single Honeywell FMZ-800 Flight Management System with TSO C-129 Class C3 Global Positioning System (GPS) Sensor Unit for GPS enroute, terminal, and non-precision approach operation in accordance with AMR Combs, Inc., Drawing List No. 7500861, revision N/C, dated December 13, 1993 or later FAA approved revision.

1. Approval for operation under this STC is contingent upon the Department of Defense declaration of Initial Operational Capability (IOC) of the GPS satellite constellation, and FAA concurrence for civil operation.

2. Installation of this STC is limited to only Continental Express ATR42 and ATR72 aircraft which are approved for air carrier operation in accordance with FAR Part 121 Regulations.

3. GPS Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) Forecast Software Module, P/N 26014080-104, as defined in Honeywell Document No. 26014080-101, is a required part of this STC and must be integrated into the air carrier's dispatch procedures to provide the flight crew with predictive (ETA +/- 15 minutes) RAIM availability at the destination airport, prior to dispatch, whenever termination at the destination airport is predicated on a GPS non-precision approach.

4. FAA approved AMR Combs, Inc., Airplane Flight Manual Supplement No. CG 00861-3 dated December 15, 1993, or later FAA approved revision is required.

5. Honeywell TSO approved Model NZ-920 Flight Management Computer, P/N 7004402-986, Mod 'AN', or later FAA TSO approved Mod revision is required.

6. Honeywell TSO approved Model AH-600 Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS), P/N 7003360- 946, or later FAA TSO approved revision is required.

For installation in the ATR42-320 airplane, Honeywell TSO approved Model FZ-600 Flight Guidance Computer, P/N 7003974-605, Mod 'DW', or later FAA TSO approved revision is required

8. For installation in the ATR72-212 airplane, Honeywell TSO approved Model FZ-600 Flight Guidance Computer, P/N 7003974-606, Mod 'DY', or later FAA TSO approved revision is required.

9. Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to aircraft on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the interrelationship between these change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness modified aircraft. of the aircraft.
