1. Installation of New Premium Economy Class Seats must be in accordance with Lufthansa Technik Supplemental Type Definition Document Doc. No. STDD25-19/31M, Issue 01, Rev. 00, dated January 9, 2023, or later EASA approved revisions.

2. Maintenance must be in accordance with the following Lufthansa Technik, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Documents:
-Doc No. A-00-22/80-ICA, Issue 02, Rev. 00, dated October 5, 2022 -Doc No. A-00-21/17-ICA, Issue 01, Rev. 00, dated August 19, 2022 or later EASA accepted revisions.
2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model.
Certification Basis:
Based on 14 CFR 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48A, the certification basis for Airbus SAS A340-313 aircraft is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for Airbus SAS A340-313 aircraft is shown on TCDS A43NM for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The certification basis for Airbus SAS A340-313 aircraft is shown on TCDS A43NM for parts changed or affected by the change except for the following paragraph(s) at a later amendment:
