2. The installer must determine if the design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. Installation of STC ST00130MC is a prerequisite for this STC.

4. When installed, airplanes with this STC are limited to operations excluding those of an Air Carrier.

Specifically, no operations under 14 CFR 121, 14 CFR 129 or any foreign Air Carrier are permitted.

5. Installation of this STC is limited to serial numbers 23824 and 23825.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Boeing 747-200 (2G4B) aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Boeing 747-200 (2G4B) series airplanes is shown on TCDS A20WE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, 19 August 2014, is as shown in TCDS A20WE with the exception that 25.981(a)(3) is at amendment 25- 102 and 25.1529 is at amendment 25-54.
