(1) Prior installation and approval of an APX-119 Transponder, and installation of FAA STC ST00112MC, are prerequisites to this STC;

(2) Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft serial numbers 48200-48211, 48213- 48251, 48303-48310 only;

(3) The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications;

(5) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Note: The FAA has reviewed the impact assessment and found that no additional chang es to the EWIS ICA are required.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Boeing DC-10-30F (KC-10A) is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for all Boeing DC-10-30F (KC-10A) is shown on TCDS A22WE for parts not changed or not affected by the change;

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by this change since the reference date of application, February 12, 2018 is based upon 14 CFR Part 25 as amended by Amendment 25-134 and 14 CFR Part 26 as amended by Amendment 26-0, and for this modification is:
