3. The aircraft must be maintained in accordance with the Airworthiness Limitations section of the ICA referenced in the Description section.

4. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for these models.

5. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

6. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48A, the FAA certification basis for the Airbus SAS models A330-200 series, A330-300 series, and A330-941 is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Airbus SAS models A330-200 series, A330-300 series, and A330-941 is shown on TCDS A46NM for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the Airbus SAS models A330-200 series, A330-300 series, and A330-941 is shown on TCDS A46NM for parts changed or affected by the change with the following exceptions as amended by the following additional airworthiness requirements:
