1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for these Make-Model-Series.

1. Installation of the Battery Access Kit must be in accordance with Avmax Aviation Services Inc. (Avmax) Engineering Order CE524-400-01, Issue B, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved April 29, 2024, or later TCCA approved revision.
2. Maintenance must be in accordance with Avmax Aviation Services Inc. (Avmax) Maintenance Manual Supplement CE524-700-01, Issue C, dated September 4, 2024, or later TCCA accepted revision.
3. Definition of the Type Design Change: Avmax Master Data List CE524-000, Issue B, TCCA approved September 4, 2024, or later TCCA approved revision.
Certification Basis:
Based on title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-8-100/-200/-300 Series is as follows:
a. The type certification basis for the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-8-100/-200/-300 Series as shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A13NM for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
b. The type certification basis for the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-8-100/-200/-300 Series for parts changed or affected by the change is per the DHC-8-400 Series certification basis as shown on TCDS A13NM.
