Part 25 of the Federal Aviation Regulations.

Installation and activation of an International Communications Group (ICG) NxtMail Server Cabin Wireless Local Area Network (CWLAN) in accordance with Learjet, Inc. Master Document List, Document No. BAS68017002, Revision NC, dated February 09, 2010, or later FAA-approved revision. Iridium service is via an existing SATCOM system.

1. This system is intended to provide cached internet content and email services to the airplane’s cabin passengers with access via PEDs. Any other intended function of this equipment will require a re-examination of the certification basis.

2. Flight with Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) is not approved by this STC. PED operational approval must be secured by other means.

3. Operation must be in accordance with Learjet, Inc. Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) Document No.

BAS68047001, Revision NC, approved February 11, 2010, or later FAA approved revision. The FMS must be carried in the aircraft during all flights.

4. Maintenance must be in accordance with Learjet, Inc. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) Document No. BAS68017002-ICA-1, Revision NC, dated October 29, 2009, or later FAA accepted revision. The ICA must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

5. Compatibility of this design with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Bombardier, Inc. BD-100-1A10 aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Bombardier, Inc. BD-100-1A10 is shown on TCDS T00005NY for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, June 19, 2009, is based upon part 25 as amended by Amendment 25-105. Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
