Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of a Rockwell Collins Global Navigation Landing System (GNS/GNLS) provisions in accordance with BF Goodrich Master Drawing List (MDL) 98-125, Sheet 1, Revision New, dated November 5, 1998, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or Designated Alteration Station (DAS) approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only.

This approval is applicable to the full provisions for the Rockwell Collins GNS/GNLS only and does not approve the installation of the actual Rockwell Collins GNS/GNLS equipment. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously incorporated approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft.

A copy of this certificate and BF Goodrich Aerospace, Inc. MDL 98-125, Sheet 1, Revision New, dated November 5, 1998, or later FAA/DAS-approved revision must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
