Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of Head-Up Display (HUD) Guidance System (HGS) Model 2700 in accordance with Flight Dynamics Master Drawing List 9701-0964, Revision D, dated January 9, 1996, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revisions.
Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to above model aircraft only. This change has only been demonstrated to be acceptable for use in operations associated with Category I and II Landing Minima as defined in FAA Advisory Circular 120-29. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft. This installation is limited to aircraft where autopilot does not have Category II option as specified in Appendix 004 of the Airplane Flight Manual (AFM).
If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
