2. Maintenance must be in accordance with Downey Corporations Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) document number ICA D8-2013-012, Rev 1, dated June 23, 2014, or later FAA accepted revision. The ICA must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

3. The Analysis for Impact to Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) due to Installation of LED Stair Lights on Bombardier DCH8 Series Aircraft, Document no. EW D8- 2013-022, Revision IR, dated November 18, 2013, or later FAA-approved revision, shall be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

4. The installation has no effect on the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Bombardier, Inc. DHC-8-100 Series, DHC-8-200 Series, DHC-8-300 Series, DHC-8-400 Series aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for parts not changed or not affected by the change is shown on TCDS A13NM.

b. The modification certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference application date, November 18, 2013, is based upon part 25 as amended by Amendment 25-136 as follows:
