188A, 188C Installation of a 3000 gallon retardant tank system in accordance with FAA approved Aero Union Master Drawing List Report No. 12494, Revision H, dated April 12, 2004, or later FAA approved revision.

The approval of this modification applies to the basic aircraft of the specified models that are otherwise unmodified. This approval should not be extended to other specific aircraft of these models on which other approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of each aircraft modified in accordance with this STC. FAA approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement No. 1514, dated March 14, 1997, or later FAA approved revisions, is required as part of this installation. Noise: This modification is exempt from CFR Part 36 Noise Standards per CFR 21, Subpart D, paragraph 21.93(b)(3)(ii). If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
