747-300 Series Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Aircraft Comm unications, Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) in accordance with FAA Approved Teledyne Controls’ Master Data List No. MDL 2231500-831, Revision (-), dated June 24, 1996, or later FAA approved revisions. Teledyne Controls’ FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Report No. TDY-ACARS-747-EGP-1, dated November 27, 1996, or later FAA approved revisions is required as part of this installation.
Limitations and Conditions: For FAA administrative purposes, this STC is reissued to replace STC ST00148LA issued to Teledyne on November 27, 1996. Th e approval of this change in type design applies basically to the above-noted airplane model series only. This installation should not be incorporated in any aircraft unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this installation and any previously approved configuration will not intr oduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificat e to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
