Replacement of the inner aluminum barrel of the engine inlet cowl with a Quiet Technology Aerospace inlet barrel of carbon graphite sandwich construction in accordance with Quiet Technology Aerospace document “Bombardier Challenger 300/350, Gulfstream G280 and Embraer Legacy 450-500 Inlet Cowl Inner Barrel Replacement Master Drawing List,” Report No. QTA 6301, Rev. B, dated September 18, 2019, and “Bombardier Challenger 300/350, Gulfstream G280 and Embraer Legacy 450/500 Inlet Cowl Inner Barrel Replacement Assemble Procedure,” Report No. QTA 6305, Rev. B, dated September 20, 2019, or later FAA approved revisions.
The following Quiet Technology Aerospace documents are required with this installation: “Embraer EMB545 - Legacy 450/Praetor 500 EMB550 - Legacy 500/Praetor 600 Inlet Cowl Inner Barrel Replacement Instructions for Continued Airworthiness,” QTA Ref. No. QTA 6503, Rev. IR, dated October 4, 2019, and “Structural Repair Manual for the Embraer EMB 545 (Legacy 450 and Praetor 500) and EMB 500 (Legacy 500 and Praetor 600) Modified Nose Cowl Part Number CH3-NC- 6300,” Report No. QTA-6504, Rev. IR, dated August 16, 2019, or later FAA approved revisions. This modification has been determined by the FAA to be no acoustical change per 14 CFR §21.93(b).
