Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Boeing Boeing 737-200 Series, 737-200C Series, 737-300 Series, 737-400 Series, 737-500 Series, 737-600 Series, 737-700 Series, 737-700C Series, 737-800 Series, 737-900 Series and 737-900ER Series aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Boeing 737-200 Series, 737-200C Series, 737-300 Series, 737-400 Series, 737-500 Series, 737-600 Series, 737-700 Series, 737-700C Series, 737-800 Series, 737-900 Series and 737-900ER Series airplane is shown on TCDS A16WE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, June 07, 2018, is based upon part 25 as amended by Amendment 25-145. Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
