2. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness SAPS document Number SMG11674, Revision A, dated February 5, 2021, or later FAA approved revision, shall be made available to the operator at the time of installation and be incorporated into the operator's maintenance program.

NOTE: The FAA has concluded this grant of exemption will allow the carriage of up to six supernumeraries, in addition to two crewmembers, in the flight compartment of Gulfstream Model GV-SP (G550) airplanes.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Gulfstream GV-SP aircrafts is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Gulfstream GV-SP aircrafts are shown on TCDS A12EA for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The modification certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, April 3, 2019 is based upon part 25 as amended by Amendment 25-136. Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
