-(Option A) For Universal UNS-1Lw Flight Management System: Doc. 2094590-CA A, Issue 2, dated August 22, 2018, or later EASA accepted revisions.

-(Option B) For Universal LPV Monitor: Doc. 2094590-CA B, Issue 1, dated March 13, 2017, or later EASA accepted revisions.

-(Option C) For Dual Rockwell Collins TDR-94D (Diversity) Transponder System (XPDR) with MODE S ELS/EHS and ADS-B out Functionality: Doc. 2094590-CA C, Issue 1, dated January 31, 2017, or later EASA accepted revisions.

3. Aircraft is to be operated in accordance with Scandinavian Avionics Design Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement as follows:

-(Option A) For Universal UNS-1Lw Flight Management System: Doc. 2094590-AM A, Issue 2, dated August 21, 2018, or later EASA approved revisions.

-(Option B) For Universal LPV Monitor: Doc. 2094590-AM B, Issue 3, dated May 10, 2017, or later EASA approved revisions.

-(Option C) For Dual Rockwell Collins TDR-94D (Diversity) Transponder System (XPDR) with MODE S ELS/EHS and ADS-B out Functionality: Doc. 2094590-AM C, Issue 1, dated March 28, 2017, or later EASA approved revisions.

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model.

4. For option B, the "Airworthiness Limitations" section of Scandinavian Avionics Design Instruction for Continued Airworthiness, document number 2094590-CA B, referenced in the Description of Type Design Change section of this STC, is mandatory.

5. Operation must be in accordance with the "Limitations" section of Scandinavian Avionics Design Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement referenced in item 3 of the Description of Type Design Change section of this STC.

6. For option A, either the installation of FAA STC ST09384SC or the installation of single UNS-1( ) and FMS, in accordance with SAAB Service Bulletin SB 34-107, is required.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Saab AB, Support and Services Model 340A (SAAB/SF340A), SAAB 340B aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Saab AB, Support and Services Model 340A and SAAB 340B is shown on TCDS A52EU for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for Saab AB, Support and Services Model 340A and SAAB 340B is shown on TCDS A52EU for parts changed or affected by the change plus with the following 14 CFR exceptions:
