(3) This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for the Make: MHI RJ Aviation ULC Model:

CL-600-2C11 (Regional Jet Series 550).

(4) The SpaceX Starlink Aviation System may not interface with any aircraft system other than power and ground.

(5) Operational approval to permit use of Portable Electronic Devices (PED) is not part of this STC.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for MHI RJ Aviation ULC Model: CL-600-2C11 (Regional Jet Series 550) is as follows:

(1) The type certification basis for parts not changed or not affected by the change is shown on TCDS A21EA-1.

(2) The modification certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference application date, March 14, 2025, is based upon 14 CFR part 25, effective Feb 1, 1965, as amended through 25-86, with the exception of those above 25-86 as follows:

CFR 25.571(a)(b)(e) amdt 25-96, 25.853(a) amdt 25-116, 25.869(a)(1) amdt 25-113, 25.1353(a)

(3) Compliance has been demonstrated to 14 CFR 26.11(c) amdt. 26-0 and 26.47(c) amdt. 26-1.

(4) This alteration has been determined to have no acoustical change per 21.93(b) amdt 21-97.
