1. Replacement of certain OEM pneumatic deicer boots in accordance with SMR Technologies, Inc. Pneumatic De-Icer Layout, Bombardier DHC-8-100, -200, -300 Series, Document No. SMR5152, revision 8, dated November 23, 2015, and detail design as listed on Master Drawing List MDL-0070, Revision C, dated March 31, 2016, or later FAA approved revisions or Pneumatic De-Icer Layout, Bombardier DHC-8-400 Series, Document No. SMR5277, revision 5, dated November 13, 2015, and detail design as listed on Master Drawing List MDL-0071, Revision C, dated December 14, 2015, or later FAA approved revisions.

1. The existing Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) remain unchanged and are applicable to this modification.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
