Description of Type Design Change: Reconfigure the interior cabin and install updated IFE products in accordance with Master Data List C2551-MDL, Rev F, dated May 10, 2011, and Airplane Flight Manual Supplement dated Feb 27, 2009 or later AA ODA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be incorporated in any aircraft of this specific model until compatibility of this modification with previously approved modifications has been determined by the installer. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.

Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Document Number C2551-ICA, Revision F, dated March 3, 2011 or later FAA AEG accepted revision shall be made available to the operator at the time of installation. A revised Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) ICA is required for this STC.

EWIS ICA Source Document, C3254AMDT-EWIS ICA, Revision NEW, dated April 1, 2011 or later FAA approved revision shall be made available to the operator at the time of installation. The aircraft shall be maintained in accordance with the above ICA.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14CFR 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for non-significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Boeing Model 767-323 series aircraft for the change is as follows:

a. The Type Certification basis for Boeing Model 767-323 series airplanes is shown on TCDS A1NM for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, November 8, 2005 is based upon Part 25, as amended by Amendment 25-117. Based on 14 CFR 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for non significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
