Installation of a baggage compartment smoke/fire detection and fire suppression system. This modification re-classifies the baggage compartment from a class D to a class C compartment in accordance with Index List GA244508000, Rev. N, dated 8/1/2006, or later FAA approved revision. FAA approved Flight Manual Supplement GA24450M000, Rev. None, dated 8/1/2006 or later FAA approved revision is required.
The compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. The certification basis for this STC is the same as listed on Type Certificate Data Sheet A53NM, additionally 25.981 at amendment 102. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
