Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be incorporated in any aircraft of this specific model until compatibility of this modification with previously approved modifications has been determined by the installer. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

The Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Document Number F1470-ICA, Revision C, dated March 26, 2010 or later FAA AEG accepted revision shall be made available to the operator at the time of installation. A revised Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) ICA is required for this STC.

EWIS ICA Source Document, F1470-EWIS-ANALYSIS, Revision 3, dated 9/29/2010 or later FAA approved revision shall be made available to the operator at the time of installation. The aircraft shall be maintained in accordance with the above ICA.

This STC requires an Alternative Method of Compliance (AMOC) with Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2008-

10-11. The installer must obtain an AMOC with AD 2008-10-11 before installing this STC.

This modification requires the floor mounted Emergency Escape Path Lighting System in accordance with STC Number ST09476SC, Amended April 9th, 2008 or later FAA approved revision to be installed concurrently.

This modification requires a concurrent modification to the lavatory automatic dump system in accordance with AA Engineering Change Order F1621AA, dated 9/17/2008 or later AA approved revision.

This modification requires a concurrent modification to the lavatory venting system in accordance with AA Engineering Change Order F1558AB, dated 10/06/2008 or later AA approved revision.

The partial cabin improvement program (PCIP) configuration introduced in F1470-MDL, Revision G, requires the following STCs to be accomplished in conjunction with or prior to incorporation of the modification as contained in the Amendment to this STC dated 09 October 2012:

1. SA3998SW-D, Install Primex EMPOWER Power Ports

2. ST10488SC-D, Replace existing 115 VAC Wiring Harnesses of Primex EMPOWER Power Ports

3. ST10490SC, Removal of One Row of Tourist Class Seats

Certification Basis:

Based on 14CFR 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for non-significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Boeing Model 757-200 series aircraft for the change is as follows:

a. The Type Certification basis for Boeing Model 757-200 series airplanes is shown on TCDS A2NM for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, June 12, 2009 is based upon Part 25, as amended by Amendment 25-128 and Part 26 as amended by Amendment 26-3. Based on 14 CFR 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for non significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
