FAA Approved Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA):

L-3 Communications Integrated Systems L.P. Document No. L3WAB787-40148-MMSV2-00, Revision IR, dated November 30, 2018 or later FAA-accepted revisions are a required part of this STC when the applicable item is installed.

Limitations and Conditions: (Continued) The maximum number of passengers must not exceed 60. There are a total of 66 passenger seats and 7 cabin crew seats installed that are approved for taxi, takeoff, and landing.

The airplane must not be operated for hire or offered for common carriage. This provision does not preclude the operator from receiving remuneration to the extent consistent with 14 CFR parts 125 and 91, subpart F, as applicable.

This STC makes use of Exemptions 11181 and 14929.

This STC requires the following Boing Service Bulletins as a prerequisite: 787-23-0026, 787-25-0050, 787-25-0098, 787-33-0017. 787-38-0011, 787-42-0026, 787-44-0036, 787-44-0077, 787-51-0003, 787-53-0051, 787-51-0009, 787- 53-0054, and 787-53-0060.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the 787-8 series airplane is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for 787-8 airplanes is shown on TCDS T00021SE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, August 21, 2014, was determined to be as follows:
