L-3 Communications Integrated Systems L.P. Document No. W34118-AFMS, Revision IR, dated November 15, 2019 or later FAA-approved revisions are a required part of this STC when the applicable item is installed.

FAA Approved Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA):

L-3 Communications Integrated Systems L.P. Document No. W34118-MMSV2, Revision IR, dated October 16, 2019 or later FAA-accepted revisions are a required part of this STC when the applicable item is installed.

Limitations and Conditions: (Continued)

The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

The maximum number of passengers must not exceed 127 in the normal configuration and 129 in the patient transport configuration.

The airplane must not be operated for hire or offered for common carriage. This provision does not preclude the operator from receiving remuneration to the extent consistent with 14 CFR parts 125 and 91, subpart F, as applicable.

This STC makes use of Exemptions 10686, 10687, 17064 and 10887 and of Special Conditions 25-586-SC and 25-650-SC.

This STC requires the following Boing Service Bulletins as a prerequisite: 747-44-2023, 747-56-2014, 747-31-2494, 747-44-2010, 747-23-2575, 747-23-2576, 747-44-2020, 747-44-2017, 747-23-2586, and Astronics Corporation of America Service Bulletin 261700-46-001

This STC requires the following STCs to be installed as a prerequisite: ST9767SC, ST01850NY, ST00892LA, and ST04184AT.

This STC utilizes AMOCs in accordance with FAA Letter 785-19-13495 dated November 15, 2019.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the 747-8 series airplane is as follows:
