3. The FAA has reviewed the applicant’s assessment showing that this modification does not impact the existing electrical wiring interconnection system instructions for continued airworthiness (EWIS ICA) and found that no additional EWIS ICA tasks are required.

4. Ames Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering Services, Inc. STC ST04462NY, issued February 27, 2020, or later FAA approval, must be installed concurrently with this installation.

5. This modification was not evaluated on aircraft with the optional center fuel tank. Aircraft with optional center fuel tank installed are not eligible for installation of this STC.

New Certification Basis: Based on 14 CFR §§21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Airbus SAS A330-300 series aircraft with a reconfigured interior increasing passenger count from 292 to 297 is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Airbus SAS A330-300 series airplanes is shown on TCDS A46NM for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, October 12, 2018, include:

Regulations at the latest amendment 25-0 through 25-145 14 CFR §25.772(b)(c), 25.801(a), 25.803(a), 25.853(a)(d)(f)(g), 25.854(a)(b), 25.981(a)(3)(d), 25.1307(c), and
