1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model-Series.

1. Installation of the Cockpit USB Charger must be done in accordance with Avmax Aviation Services Inc. (Avmax) Engineering Order CE537-400-01, Issue A, dated November 29, 2024, or later Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved revision.

2. Operation must be in accordance with Avmax Flight Manual Supplement CE537-800-01, Issue A, dated January 6, 2025, or later TCCA approved revision.

3. Maintenance must be in accordance with Avmax Maintenance Manual Supplement CE537-700-01, Issue A, dated November 28, 2024, or later TCCA accepted revision.

4. Definition of the Type Design Change: Avmax Master Data List CE537-000, Issue B, dated January 21, 2025, or later TCCA approved revision.

4. Operation must be in accordance with the limitations section of the flight manual supplement identified in the Description of Type Design Change section.

Note: This STC does not require a revised Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA).

Certification Basis:

Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for modified De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-8-400 Series is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-8-400 Series is shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A13NM for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-8-400 Series for parts changed or affected by the change is shown on TCDS A13NM with the following addition:
