2) The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3) FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, Nextant Aerospace Doc. No. NT0080-AFMS-0100, Revision A, approved September 25, 2025, or later FAA approved revision is required on board the modified aircraft.

4) For Nextant Aerospace Master Data List, Doc. No. NT0080-MDL0-0100, Configuration ID A, FAA Approved Instructions for Continued Airworthiness – Airworthiness Limitations, Section 04-00-00 of Nextant Aerospace Doc. No. NT0080-ICA0-0100, Revision B, approved September 25, 2025, or later FAA approved revision is a required part of this STC.

Installation of SpaceX Starlink Aviation System in accordance with Nextant Aerospace Master Data List, Doc. No.

NT0080-MDL0-0100, Revision D, dated September 04, 2025, or later FAA-approved revisions.

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48A, the certification basis for the Embraer EMB-545 and EMB-550 aircraft is as follows:

7) This modification requires that the aircraft be shown to be electromagnetically compatible with transmitting portable electronics devices (T-PEDS) that utilize wireless data technologies.

8) The system is intended to provide non-essential, non-required internet connection and email services to the airplane’s cabin using portable electronic devices (PEDs). Any other intended function of this equipment will require a re-examination of the certification basis.

9) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
