1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for these Make-Model-Series.

1. Installation of the Center Console Extension must be done in accordance with Avmax Aviation Services Inc. (Avmax) Engineering Order CE523-400-02, Issue D, dated May 15, 2025, or later Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved revision.

2. Definition of the Type Design Change: Avmax Master Data List CE523-000, Issue D, dated May 15, 2025, or later TCCA approved revision.

Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-8-100/-200/-300/-400 Series is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-8-100/-200/-300/-400 Series is shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A13NM for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited DHC-8-100/-200/-300/-400 Series for parts changed or affected by the change is per the DHC-8-400 Series basis shown on TCDS A13NM.
