Description of Type Design Change (continued):

• Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement: 02009-EAS-A-AFM-01 Version: C Rev. 01, dated November 22, 2024 *

• Instructions for Continued Airworthiness(ICA) Supplement:02009-FAA-A-ICA-01 Version A, dated October 6, 2025*

* or later revisions of the above listed document(s) approved/accepted under the EASA system

• The aircraft must be operated in accordance with the limitations section of the flight manual supplement referenced in the Description of Type Design Change section.

• The aircraft must be maintained in accordance with the airworthiness limitations section of the ICA referenced in the Description of Type Design Change section.

• New Thinkom system must be deactivated on A320 models.

• Aircraft must be Transmitting Portable Electronic Device (TPED) immune.

• The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

• If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for modified A320/321 is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the A320/321 is shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A28NM for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the A320/321 for parts changed or affected by the change is shown on TCDS A28NM with the following exceptions:

21.93(b).
