(4) STC ST12325SE is required for activation of the Starlink Aviation System.

(5) The system installed by this STC is intended to provide a non-essential, non-required internet connection to portable electronic devices (PED). Use of this system for any other purpose or connection of this system to other onboard equipment may require additional regulatory approval.

(6) Operational approval to permit use of Portable Electronic Devices (PED) is not part of this STC.

Based on 14 CFR § 21.101 and § 21.115, and the FAA policy for changed aeronautical products in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for this modification is as follows:
