From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: Ms. Carolyn delaine alexander was a passenger aboard American airlines flight 374 a Boeing 757, enroute from dfw to dca on 01-27-94. Because of light to moderate choppy air, the seat belt sign had been turned on for the entire flight. After repeated requests by the f/a's to be seated, in a belligerent, profane, and intimidating manner, MS. Alexander refused to take her seat and would not buckle her child in the seat. On landing roll, she got out of her seat twice and tried to remove her bags from the overhead bin, requiring the captain to stop the aircraft on the taxiway. Mwaa (dca) police met the aircraft and the woman was held in custody until a written complaint was filed by the crew.
