From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: while enroute from tol to cvg, crew received an engine fire indication. Crew performed necessary checklists and shut down right engine. The crew declared an emergency with ind center and diverted to Dayton, Ohio. After landing, the plane was evacuated just off the runway on the taxiway. The fire department reported that no fire was evident. The mechanic later indicated that there exists no evidence of fire or smoke damage. The aircraft will be ferried to cvg. Right engine appears to have a faulty fire warning system. The engine did not appear to have a fire condition or over heat after a thorough check out and engine ground run. Company SDR report to be submitted to FAA as per their FAR 121 maintenance operation manual.
