From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: the flight from msp to cps on 01-10-95 was designated the sic's leg. According to company procedure the non-typed rated SIC occupied the left seat, the typed rated PIC occupied the right seat. The weather was variable in the fog, reported by cps tower to be at approach minimums. The wind was light. The SIC flew the first approach, the ILS 30L, at dh the PIC called, "runway in sight". The SIC looked up, did not have contact and called and executed a missed approach. The PIC decided to execute the next approach from the right seat. On landing, executed by the PIC from the right seat, the aircraft touched down with left gear off the left side of the runway. The initial right gear marks on the runway (see pictures) show the direction to be veering toward the left edge of the runway. The aircraft ran off the left side of the runway, in the mud, on rollout struck a runway light causing minor damage to the aircraft. privacy data omitted This incident report closed.
