What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Narrative: as stated in a letter by Mr. Richard nelson: while doing touch-go's Mr. Nelson was told not to make wide turns on his approach. At one point he was told cleared to land runway 18. He thought they were bringing him in and he stated that stressed him out. Then the tower asked if he could make a turn to runway 23. With the runway changes he stated I guess I lost too much altitude. The aircraft made contact with the upper limbs of a tree. Note: damage to the aircraft was about $4000.
