What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Narrative: pilot stated that during take-off, it appeared that the aircraft was lifting on ground affect and was not gaining altitude and was not sure if it was due to loss of engine (pilot stated engine RPM was at 2400) power or if it was due to a downdraft. He decided to abort the take-off and applied the brakes which initially grabbed then failed. He then stated that he had to ground loop the aircraft to keep from running off the end of the runway. The aircraft went up on its nose and flipped upside down causing minor damage to the aircraft. No injury to the pilot. Substantial damage to the aircraft was later done during the recovery process.
