What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Narrative: on 4-14-95 at 1035, a Beech J35 made an off-airport landing due to engine stoppage. During the roll-out, the nose wheel struck a hole in the road and tore the nose gear off causing the aircraft to leave the road. Damage to the aircraft consisted of nose gear, propeller, engine mount and both wing tips. Investigation revealed that the pilot ran out of fuel in main tanks and failed to select the aux tank that had sufficient fuel to continue flight. Weather was not a factor. Pilot deviation was not involved. End. Nothing follows.
