From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: pilot in command failed to obtain ATC authorization for parachute jump while in Biloxi class d airspace. The pilot allowed 31 jumpers to exit the aircraft and in doing so created a potential hazard to air traffic at keesler afb, MS. A medivac flight a C-9 inbound to keesler afb, was instructed to complete a 360 degree turn in order to not cause a hazard in the event the aircraft landing at keesler had to go around which if the aircraft had to go around would have went through the jumpers.
