From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: pilots filed the incident with the aala "asap" program and is being investigated at this time at the dpw-emd. Action taken at ord-ramp tower is found to be satisfactory as per my investigation. No further action is required at this time. Final information from the dfw-cno on the "asap" investigation be forwarded to ord as necessary. Aala #88 was pushed back from K-7 at ord and instructed by ramp tower to use the "west" taxi line. A/c struck a parked B-767 at K-15. Investigation determined that the ramp tower issued clearance on the wrong line. Person was disciplined and retrained and put on probation with supervision as per aala procedures policy.
