From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: on 10-6-95, a low wing aircraft, N76J, was reported to have flown into a temporary flight restricted airspace/papal visit without authorization from ATC. The aircraft did not file a VFR flight plan and VMC condition prevailed. Mr. Timmermeister denies allegation as he and his mechanic have certified that N76J has not been airworthy for over one year. Full tail number of alleged aircraft is necessary to pursue this incident, and full registration number is unavailable. Therefore, this incident is considered closed.
