From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: the number four main wheel assembly was found missing by ground crew after the aircraft parked on the ramp. The wheel assembly was later found on the approach end of runway 24. Post flight inspection by maintenance personnel revealed that the axle nut had been pulled off the axle threads. The tail skid had hit the runway, and the right inboard flap had been damaged by the departing wheel assembly. Maintenance replaced damaged flap and cables, repaired tail bumper, replaced axle sleeve, performed ndt inspection of right gear, changed both number 3 and number 4 main wheel assemblies, and performed a hard landing inspection.
