From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-16) Aircraft was inspected for basic functions I.e. engine electrical, fuel supply, oil, air intake and security of engine components. Found all fuel components and supply lines normal except for right wing fuel supply line under cockpit floor. Supply line was broken on impact causing a leakage of approximately 2-3 gallons of fuel. Both fuel gauges read empty and there was no evidence of fuel in floor section of carburetor gascillator or supply lines - fuel selector was found selected to "both". Engine was run through and found to rotate freely. Investigation concluded that there was no evidence of fuel supply to engine.
