From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: the pilot was on a local flight in his recently purchased airplane. After a half hour flight, the pilot returned to the airport. The pilot said during the landing flare the airplane began to porpoise and the nose gear touched down first. While taxiing off the runway, the nose gear partially collapsed causing the propeller to strike the ground. Investigation revealed the nose gear lower link assembly had broken allowing the nose gear to partially retract. Damage was limited to the nose gear and propeller tips. This incident is closed with this report.
