From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: upon landing at stl runway 30L, during thrust reversal the flight crew experienced a power loss to both engines (engines quit). The aircraft came to rest facing north (360 degrees) at the intersection of taxiway echo. The aircraft was towed to the hangar facility where an engine inspection was performed. There were no contributing factors found for the apparent multiple engine power loss. Twaa maintenance replaced both engine fuel controls (jfc) under the advice of twaa engineering group. A subsequent engine performance was accomplished with no engine thrust discrepancies noted. An aircraft "side load" inspection was performed; no discrepancies noted. Incident closed. Note: preliminary information given to NTSB, Mr. Bowling at (708) 377-8177. Notified at 0855 on 12/21/95.
