From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: mesa airlines, Emb-120, operating as air shuttle 5025 arrived at Phoenix sky Harbor at approximately 2040 MST. Mesa's parking area is at terminal 4 on the north and east (center) concourse, a passenger bridge walkway connects the center and east concourses, the PIC taxied to the parking area approaching the passenger bridge walkway. The assigned aircraft parking spots were all occupied by other aircraft. The aircraft was turned 180 degrees causing the left outboard elevator tip cap to strike and break a pane of glass in the passenger bridge walkway. The elevator tip cap is a replaceable item. There was minor damage to the outboard aft corner of the elevator. The elevator, elevator hinges, stabilizer, and stabilizer attach fittings were inspected prior to ferry for elevator replacement.
