NARRATIVE: THE AIRCRAFT INVOLVED IN THIS INCIDENT HAD RECENTLY UNDERGONE EXTENSIVE MODIFICATION. THE PILOT APOLOGIZED THAT SINCE HE HAD FLOWN VERY LITTLE IN THE PAST SEVERAL MONTHS THAT HE WAS NOT EXTREMELY PROFICIENT. THE MODIFICATION WAS NOT THE REASON FOR THE GEAR UP LANDING. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE SIMPLY FORGOT TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR.
