From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: pilot departed winchester pines (8CA5) a private airport enroute to the Hemet, CA airport. The pilot stated that she "did some airwork" between 8CA5 and hmt. There was nothing unusual about the flight to hmt, and the approach to landing. Pilot stated that she must have used excessive breaking on roll out, in that the landing and initial roll out was routine until the airplane nosed over. Damage is limited to the propeller and engine and engine cowling and the right wing tip. privacy data omitted This incident is closed.
