From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: pilot stated that aircraft was free of contamination during pre-flight and taxi. He was cleared to runway 28R which had not been used prior to his departure. Runway 28L braking action reported o.k. by a 737 landing aircraft. Pilot checked visually for contamination prior to start of take-off and observed none. Immediately after lift off, pilot said the aircraft did not feel responsive to elevator control and he suspected icing on the tail surface and elected to abort the takeoff. Braking action was poor pilot shutdown both engines but aircraft could not be stopped before departing the end of the runway. None of the nine responsibilities involved. Weather and pilot judgment were factors in the incident . Pilot counseled, by ASI Mr. Richard d. blazso.
