From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On landing, aircraft crashed into a field adjacent to the runway. (-23) the pilot stated as he rolled the aircraft out on final, he began using right wing low with aileron and nose straight with left rudder to neutralize left drift. The aircraft drifted to the north, but he corrected it back, when suddenly, a strong gust blew the plane north of the runway. The right wing dropped quickly while the aircraft continued to drift left (north) as he added power to execute another go-around. The plane continued to drop right wind low. The engine accelerated normally but the aircraft continued to drop and struck the ground right wing low and off to the left of the runway.
